AutoCAD Drafter

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman with strong experience in interior glass partitions, glass doors, and related architectural drawings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation details as per project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for interior glass partitions, glass doors, and aluminum profiles.
• Develop fabrication drawings, cutting lists, and material take-offs.
• Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and site measurements to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and production teams to ensure drawings meet design intent.
• Update drawings based on client comments, consultant feedback, and site conditions.
• Create as-built drawings after project completion.
• Ensure all drawings comply with safety standards, local regulations, and technical guidelines.
• Maintain organized record of drawings, revisions, and approvals.
• Assist in estimations and BOQs when required.
• Collaborate closely with the installation team to resolve design and technical issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience specifically in glass partitions, frameless doors, shower enclosures, or aluminum & glass works.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of 3D tools (SketchUp, Revit) is an advantage.
• Ability to read, interpret, and translate architectural and structural drawings.
• Good understanding of glass thicknesses, hardware, profiles, tolerances, and installation methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
