AutoCAD Drafter/Designer

We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter with experience using AutoCAD Architecture to support the design and layout of warehouse storage systems. This role will focus on producing accurate drawings, floor plans, elevations, and fabrication details for racking, shelving, and custom storage solutions.

• Create and update 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD Architecture for warehouse storage systems (racking, shelving, mezzanines, and material-handling layouts).
• Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction documents based on project requirements.
• Translate conceptual sketches and engineering notes into accurate technical drawings.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
• Maintain drawing standards, file organization, and revision control.
• Assist with site measurements, field verification, and inventory layout changes as needed.
• Prepare bill of materials and support documentation when required.
• Ensure all designs comply with building codes, safety standards, and internal specifications.

• 3+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience (AutoCAD Architecture preffered).
• Strong understanding of warehouse layouts, storage systems, racking, and/or industrial design (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and engineering notes.
• Proficient in 2D drafting; 3D modeling experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience designing pallet racking, shelving systems, warehouse layouts, or material-handling systems.
• Knowledge of building codes, OSHA, and safety standards relating to warehouse layouts.
• Associate’s degree or technical certificate in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
