AutoCAD Drafter/Designer- Project Manager

CAD Position:

• MUST have experience with misc. metals- gates, railing, handrails, structural Steel
• Minimum 5 years of Autocad experience
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
• Ability to take site dimensions
• Work with customers on establishing design
• Identify onsite conflicts with dimensions
• Knowledge of hardware, materials and fabrication procedures
• Knowledge of installation procedures
• Create drawings for permit submittal
• Knowledge of Excel, Office and Word
• Organizational skills and file management on computer
• Compose emails
• Discuss and order hardware and material with vendors
• Have a high level of detail
• Forward thinking ability
• Ability to keep up with the work for shop flow
• Conceptual design
• Must have excellent problem solving skills and conflict resolution
• Produce drawings for fabrication shop
• Estimate and provide change orders
• Add to product library
• Work with vendors, waterjet and laser cutting
• Onsite coordination of installation if required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour
