At S. A. Hamid & Co., we’ve been redefining industrial automation for decades from PLC panels to smart HMI/SCADA systems and now AI-driven control intelligence. As we expand our engineering force, we’re looking for interns who want to get hands-on with real machines, sensors, field buses, and control logic not just simulations.

This internship is ideal for final-year students or fresh grads who want to learn by doing and grow into serious engineers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Automation Projects: Assist in the development and configuration of PLC based control systems.
• Design SCADA/HMI Interfaces: Build intuitive dashboards for real-time system monitoring and alarms.
• System Integration: Work on integrating sensors, actuators, drives, and field devices
• Testing & Commissioning: Participate in on-site testing, debugging, and client acceptance.
• Documentation: Help maintain I/O lists, electrical drawings, code comments, and O&M manuals.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization: Assist in identifying issues, analyzing root causes, and implementing improvements.

What You’ll Learn

• PLC programming (Ladder, FBD, Structured Text)
• SCADA/HMI design best practices (alarm management, navigation, usability)
• Industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.)
• Project workflows: From drawing approval to live commissioning

Who Should Apply

• Students or recent graduates in:
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics Engineering
• Mechatronics Engineering
• Computer Science (with strong interest or coursework in automation, IoT, or control systems)
• Basic understanding of control logic, circuits, and field devices
• Familiarity with PLC/HMI/SCADA tools (academic exposure or final-year project is fine)
• Excellent documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Willingness to visit client sites and work on live systems (with mentorship)
