Summary

We are seeking a motivated Automation QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to the quality assurance of our software projects. This contractual role is ideal for individuals with at least one year of experience looking to grow in software QA automation. You’ll work alongside experienced QA engineers to design, develop, and execute automated test cases, identify bugs, and improve product quality. The candidate must have hands-on experience working on AI-related projects as a QA.

Key Responsibilities

Automated Testing & Quality Assurance

• Analyze project requirements to understand testing objectives and automation potential.
• Design and maintain automated test cases and plans using relevant tools.
• Perform functional, regression, API, and exploratory testing with a focus on automation.
• Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps.
• Support the QA team in pre-release testing using automated and manual methods.

Skill Enhancement & Automation Development

• Continuously improve knowledge of QA processes, automation frameworks, and best practices.
• Learn from real-time debugging and automation challenges.
• Explore modern tools and AI-based QA technologies to enhance testing efficiency.
• Work closely with development, business, and project teams to align QA efforts.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Skills

• Strong grasp of core software testing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience writing test plans, test cases, and detailed bug reports.
• Hands-on with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and scripting language (Python, JS, Java).
• Understanding of CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Must have experience with AI-driven QA tools or direct involvement in QA automation within AI projects.

Experience

• 1+ year of experience as an Automation QA Engineer or similar role.
• Must have worked on AI-based projects as a QA.
