Sheehy Auto Mall of Hagerstown has an immediate opening for a Social Media Content Specialist who will develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that enhances brand visibility, engages customers, and celebrates employees across all platforms. This role will manage content creation for four dealerships and a collision center, ensuring consistent branding and messaging while driving engagement and conversions.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Management: Daily posts for all stores and body shop, monthly employee meeting highlights, holiday party coverage, Subaru Share the Love event, employee and customer spotlights, timeline videos of vehicle repairs.
• Campaign & Event Coverage: Social media coverage for dealership events and community initiatives.
• Brand & Online Presence: Build and maintain consistent branding across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube).
• Promotions & Offers: Post new car incentives, vehicle spotlights, service specials, and limited-time offers.
• Community Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and reviews promptly.
• Analytics & Reporting: Track engagement metrics and provide monthly performance reports.

Requirements

• Recent college graduate preferred; Marketing major strongly desired.
• Strong photography, videography, and editing skills (Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools).
• Excellent copywriting and storytelling ability.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and trends (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube).
• Basic knowledge of paid social advertising and SEO is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• A passion for the automotive industry and a strong focus on customer engagement are a bonus.
