What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including electrical systems, powertrain, transmissions, and diesel engines.
• Utilize schematics, automotive diagnostics tools, and hand tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as alignments, wheel balancing, and general mechanical repairs.
• Repair or replace components using power tools and welding equipment as needed.
• Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Assist in training junior technicians and providing technical guidance when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs performed using auto estimating software.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair needs and timelines.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including ADAS systems and electrical systems.

What You'll Bring with You:

• 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry (store management experience preferred)
• Proven experience as a Lead Service Technician or Master Technician.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain, transmissions, and vehicle maintenance.
• Proficiency with schematics, automotive repair tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Experience with GM vehicles and diesel engine repair preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• ASE certifications or equivalent are highly desirable.
