Responsibilities:
- Design and develop fuel flow systems for automotive propulsion platforms
- Conduct simulations and CFD analyses to optimize fuel delivery and combustion efficiency.
- Collaborate with engine calibration, thermal, and controls teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Analyze fuel system performance data and troubleshoot issues.
- Develop and execute test procedures for fuel flow components and systems.
- Ensure compliance with automotive safety, emissions, and regulatory standards
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specs, test reports, and validation protocols.
- Support R & Dinitiatives for alternative fuels and electrified propulsion systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
- Min 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong foundation in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and combustion principles.
- Experience with fuel system components (injectors, pumps, valves, sensors).
- Proficiency in CAD and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB, GT-Power)
- Familiarity with automotive propulsion systems (ICE, hybrid, EV).
- Knowledge of emissions control technologies and fuel economy strategies is preferred
- Exposure to regulatory standards (EPA, CARB, Euro 6) is preferred
- Project management experience and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Office and lab-based work with occasional travel to test facilities or manufacturing sites.
- Collaborative engineering environment focused on innovation and sustainability
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in automotive testing environments (dyno, test benches) is preferred
