Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automotive Salesperson to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will excel in building customer relationships, demonstrating vehicles, and closing sales. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about automobiles and skilled in sales strategies to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Automotive Salesperson will be responsible for engaging with potential buyers, managing the sales pipeline, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and dealership success.

Duties

  • Engage with prospective customers through outbound sales efforts, including cold calling and B2B sales outreach.
  • Demonstrate vehicle features and benefits to customers, highlighting key selling points and upselling additional features or services.
  • Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing, utilizing CRM software to track leads and follow-ups.
  • Negotiate deals effectively, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining dealership profitability.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline by prospecting new clients through marketing initiatives and networking.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining financing options, and guiding clients through the purchase process.
  • Assist with inventory management and control to ensure vehicle availability aligns with customer demand.
  • Support marketing efforts by participating in promotional events and public speaking engagements to enhance dealership visibility.
  • Collaborate with sales management to develop strategies for high-end sales and retail sales growth.
  • Uphold professional phone etiquette and communication skills when interacting with clients both in person and over the phone.
  • Maintain organized records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory updates.

Skills

  • Proven experience in automotive or retail sales, with a strong understanding of inventory management and inventory control processes.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple prospects within a sales pipeline efficiently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software for lead tracking and follow-up management.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including public speaking, phone etiquette, and interpersonal interactions.
  • Experience with outbound sales techniques such as cold calling and B2B sales strategies.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry standards, high-end sales practices, and dealership operations is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment requiring retail math proficiency and organizational skills.
