About the Role

The Head of Vending will lead the strategic development, deployment, and optimization of vending solutions across client sites. This role is central to driving innovation, operational excellence, and profitability in automated food and beverage delivery formats, including micro-markets, vending kiosks, and branded pop-ups.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the vending strategy aligned with the organization’s food platform goals and client needs.
  • Lead the development of branded vending concepts and micro-market rollouts across geographies.
  • Collaborate with culinary, digital, and supply chain teams to integrate vending into broader food service offerings.


Operational Excellence

  • Oversee deployment, maintenance, and performance of vending machines and micro-retail units.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and technical standards across all vending formats.
  • Drive digitization and analytics for vending consumption, replenishment, and customer feedback using tools like Foresight.


Financial & Performance Management

  • Own the P&L for vending operations, including cost control, revenue optimization, and margin improvement.
  • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve vending uptime, product mix, and customer satisfaction.


Team Development & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead a cross-functional team including deployment managers, brand chefs, and support staff.
  • Act as the SME for vending in client discussions, mobilization plans, and innovation forums.
  • Coordinate with regional heads and segment leaders to align vending strategy with site-specific needs.


Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, Engineering, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in vending operations, retail automation, or food services.
  • Proven track record in deploying and scaling vending solutions across multiple sites.
  • Strong understanding of vending technology, telemetry, and replenishment logistics.
