You'll work closely with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with tax regulations and provide expert advice on tax planning strategies. How you succeed You will be part of the Transfer Pricing team in OCBC Group Tax Advisory. To succeed in this role, you'll need to stay up-to-date on the latest tax laws and regulations, and be able to apply that knowledge to complex business scenarios. You'll work closely with Business to understand their needs and objectives, and develop tailored tax solutions that meet their needs. You'll also need to collaborate with other teams within the bank, such as audit and risk management, to ensure that the Bank is in compliance with all relevant regulations. What you do This is a Group-level role based at Head Office, responsible for transfer pricing advisory and compliance across OCBC Group entities of business and revenue-related transactions. Key responsibilities include:Group-Level Oversight & Policy Governance Maintain and periodically review Transfer Pricing (TP) policies across OCBC Group, ensuring alignment with OECD guidelines and local regulations.Compliance, Reporting & Documentation Assist in preparing and reviewing transfer pricing documentation, including service-level agreements for related-party transactions.Implementation & Operational Monitoring Supervise and review the execution of TP policies for transactions to ensure effective implementation across all Group entities.Audit Defence & Risk Management TP audit defence and dispute resolution, including addressing TP queries from tax authorities and regulators. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for transfer pricing
exposures.Business Partnering & Process Improvement Act as a dedicated Tax Relationship Manager to designated Business/Support Units and OCBC entities. Provide training and assist Business Units and OCBC entities with TP-related queries, offering commercially viable solutions. Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Legal & Compliance) and liaise with external tax advisors to ensure TP governance and operational efficiency. Drive technology adoption and process improvements to enhance TP monitoring and reporting.# Who you are degree in Accountancy, Business or Finance and/ or a member of a recognised tax practitioner association. Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in transfer pricing, preferably in banking or financial services. Prior experience in handling tax technology and system implementation will be a plus. Possess strong tax research skills and be able to provide practical solutions in a commercial environment. A self-starter who is independent, motivated, and comfortable engaging with senior business stakeholders.
