Azure Mid Level Engineer

Job Summary
This is a long term contract to hire position. We are seeking a skilled Azure Mid Level Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud solutions on the Azure platform. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud architecture, security, and automation, with a focus on delivering scalable and reliable cloud services. Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy cloud-based applications and services using Microsoft Azure tools and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures.
• Automate deployment processes through scripting and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement security best practices to safeguard data and comply with industry standards.
• Stay current with Azure updates, new features, and industry trends related to quantum engineering integration.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices for ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.

Skills

• Proven experience as an Azure Engineer or similar role with hands-on expertise in deploying and managing Azure solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, networking, storage, and security within Azure.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools like ARM templates or Terraform.
• Knowledge of quantum engineering concepts is highly desirable, with the ability to incorporate emerging quantum technologies into cloud solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and document technical processes clearly.
