B2 Avionics Technician Senior

Job Description

• Comply with all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies and Regulations, and all Aviation, Safety, Quality and Export Control Regulations and Procedures.
• Work as part of a team to perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the helicopter fleet in a customer environment.
• Undertake aircraft maintenance, repair and inspection tasks, quality checks, and complete documentation in accordance with company and customer procedures.
• Check tools and GSE before each maintenance activity for condition and expiration date, and ensure their correct use.
• Inspect components and parts for conditions (damages, leaks etc.) and confirm correct applicability of documentation.
• Perform electrical assembly, integration and modification; system repairs; first level quality inspection; functional tests of aircraft and components.
• Analyze performance and isolate malfunctions of integrated avionic instruments and flight control systems.
• Conduct checkouts of avionic instruments, flight control systems and components.
• Inspect avionic instruments and flight control systems; ensure all work performed is recorded on appropriate paperwork and signed when completed.
• Ensure correct use and control of aircraft parts and materials; verify aircraft status regarding scheduled tasks and deferred items, and sign the Release to Service of the aircraft.
• Perform duties assigned by the Site Manager, ensuring timely completion and adherence to delivery quality requirements.
• Evaluate performance of assigned customer personnel; conduct on the job training; train personnel on maintenance manuals, safety directives, and FOD procedures; supervise and train junior aircraft technicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
