Back Wait and Food Runner Position

UNCO | Backwait Job Description Your Role: As a backwait, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless dining experience. Your responsibilities include assisting servers with table maintenance, bussing tables, stocking wait stations, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. Our backwaits are the unsung heroes of our service team, providing essential support and ensuring that our guests have a pleasant time. This entry-level position offers valuable experience in restaurant operations and serves as a stepping stone to other roles within the establishment. No prior experience is required. Key Responsibilities: - Assist servers in keeping tables tidy and ensuring that water glasses are filled during service. - Maintain open communication with hosts and servers throughout the shift to efficiently turn tables. - Bus all empty tables and reset them for the next guest. - Keep wait stations clean and fully stocked before and during service. - Clean the wait station after each shift and break down at the end of the night. - Stock silverware throughout the shift. - Check restrooms every fifteen minutes to ensure they are stocked and clean. - Keep floors free of debris and spills. Qualifications: - Must be at least 18 years of age. - Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. - Hourly wage plus tip share: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour.
