Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Backlink & Digital Outreach Coordinator / Social Media Coordinator to elevate our online presence through executing high-impact link-building and digital relationship-building strategies that support SEO growth, brand visibility, and authority. This role combines traditional outreach responsibilities with social media coordination to amplify brand voice, engage online audiences, and support digital PR efforts. Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and manage backlink acquisition strategies to improve domain authority and keyword rankings.
- Identify high-quality websites, directories, bloggers, and influencers for relevant backlink opportunities.
- Conduct cold outreach campaigns via email, social media, and digital platforms to secure mentions, citations, guest posts, and link placements.
- Maintain and optimize outreach templates and messaging.
- Track communication history, campaign performance, and link placements using tools like SEMrush, Google Sheets, etc.
- Vet backlink opportunities for quality, relevance, and compliance with SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with content writers and marketing team to pitch, coordinate, and produce guest posts or digital PR content.
- Monitor competitor backlink profiles and identify new opportunities based on competitive gaps.
- Report monthly on backlink growth, domain authority improvements, and outreach KPIs.
Social Media Coordination
- Manage and schedule posts across major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google My Business.).
- Support outreach efforts by promoting new blogs, press releases, partnerships, and guest posts through social channels.
- Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments/messages in a professional, brand-aligned manner.
- Research trending topics and create content ideas aligned with SEO and outreach initiatives.
- Assist with influencer collaborations and social media-based digital PR opportunities.
- Maintain a consistent posting calendar and ensure brand voice and tone are consistent.
- Report on social media analytics (growth, reach, engagement, referrals).
- Proficiency in the following: Excel, SEMRush, Google Docs, Google Sheets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in digital marketing roles with a focus on SEO, backlink building, or outreach campaigns.
- Strong understanding of social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer; experience with social listening platforms is a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and video editing software for content creation purposes.
- Knowledge of Facebook Advertising platform for creating targeted ad campaigns.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and web analytics tools to analyze data trends effectively.
- Experience in graphic design, photography, or video editing is highly desirable.
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build partnerships within the digital community.
