Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Bakery Shop Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure smooth workflow, and maintain high-quality standards across the store. The ideal candidate should have strong bakery background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage staff, inventory, and overall shop performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of shop operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop staff to achieve sales goals and service standards.
• Ensure the shop is well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing at all times.
• Handle inventory management, stock ordering, and loss prevention.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies for growth.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and health regulations.
• Process financial transactions, manage cash, and reconcile daily sales.
• Report regularly to upper management on performance and operational matters.

Qualifications:

• Must have proven experience managing a bakery or similar food retail outlet.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Bakery operations, stock control, and customer service practices.
• Proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in retail or business is an advantage.
• Certified in Food Safety & Hygiene (advantage)
• Strong understanding of bakery products, production flow, and quality control

Working Conditions:

• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as needed (up to 50 lbs)
• Working hours : 10 hours with weekly off
