Job Summary:
The Senior Manager – Banking (Real Estate) will be responsible for managing and maintaining banking relationships, securing project funding, overseeing loan disbursements, and ensuring smooth financial operations for real estate projects. This role involves coordinating with banks, financial institutions, and internal project teams to ensure adequate liquidity, compliance, and cost-effective financial structuring.
Key Responsibilities:1. Banking & Financial Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Negotiate loan terms, credit lines, and other financial instruments for real estate projects.
- Manage project finance, term loans, working capital, and overdraft facilities.
- Monitor and manage cash flow requirements across multiple projects.
- Ensure timely repayment of loans, interest, and adherence to covenants.
2. Project Finance & Fundraising
- Prepare project reports, financial models, and feasibility studies for funding proposals.
- Liaise with lenders for sanction, disbursement, and compliance documentation.
- Evaluate funding options including lease finance, private equity, and structured finance.
- Ensure utilization of funds as per approved project plans and budgets.
3. Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary contact point for all banking and financial institution interactions.
- Coordinate with legal, audit, and compliance teams for documentation and due diligence.
- Build long-term strategic partnerships with key banking stakeholders.
4. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all transactions comply with RBI guidelines, company policies, and statutory norms.
- Maintain accurate records of all banking facilities, guarantees, and securities.
- Prepare periodic MIS reports on loan utilization, interest costs, and fund flow.
5. Strategic & Operational Support
- Support management in financial decision-making and cost optimization.
- Evaluate new investment opportunities and provide financial risk assessments.
- Participate in business planning, budgeting, and project cash flow forecasting.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of project finance, banking operations, and real estate funding models.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, MIS reporting, and Excel.
- Sound understanding of RBI norms, NBFC funding, and real estate regulations (RERA).
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 3-8 years in banking, project finance, or treasury management — preferably in the real estate or infrastructure sector.
- Preferred Background: Candidates from real estate developers, banks, or NBFCs handling real estate portfolios.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
