Job Description

• Advise clients on their different bankruptcy options.
• Meeting with potential and current clients.
• Help manage cases from filing through closure.
• Stay informed of developments in bankruptcy law.
• Request/approve various objections, pleadings, and motions.
• Must learn to draft and file pleadings in Illinois bankruptcy courts.
• Respond to client questions via phone and email.
• Candidate will be working on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 matters.
• Will be required to obtain knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code and local rules

REQUIREMENTS

1. Candidate could be a new graduate or have up to 3 years of bankruptcy experience. Law firm training on Federal Bankruptcy skills will be provided.

2. The candidate must be admitted to the Illinois Bar and demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

3. Prior marketing and customer service skills are a plus.

4. Have the ability to maintain compliance with each.

5. Must be able to effectively work in high-pressure situations, involving deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
