Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Banquet Hall Sales and Business Development Manager to lead and manage all aspects of our venue operations. This role encompasses event management, sales and marketing, budget oversight, and staff recruitment. The ideal candidate will also spearhead creative initiatives like organizing pop-up shows to enhance brand visibility and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Marketing:
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize venue bookings.
- Promote the banquet hall through digital marketing, social media campaigns, and local advertising.
- Build partnerships with event planners, corporate clients, and local businesses.
- Organize and manage pop-up events to showcase the venue and attract clients.
- Travel to various organizations to promote the banquet hall.
- Track sales performance and adjust strategies to meet revenue goals.
Event Management:
- Plan, organize, and oversee a variety of events, including weddings, corporate functions, parties, and pop-up shows.
- Ensure flawless event execution, managing all logistics from setup to teardown.
- Coordinate with vendors, decorators, and caterers to meet client requirements.
- Troubleshoot during events to ensure client satisfaction.
Staff Recruitment and Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise event staff, ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Build a strong team culture, motivating staff to perform their best.
- Schedule and allocate tasks for events based on staff strengths and availability.
Budget and Financial Management:
- Prepare, monitor, and manage budgets for individual events and overall operations.
- Negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and suppliers to ensure cost-efficiency.
- Track revenue and expenses, providing regular financial reports to management.
Venue Operations:
- Oversee daily venue operations, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and inventory control.
- Regularly inspect the premises for safety and compliance with local regulations.
- Continuously innovate to enhance guest experiences and venue appeal.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in event management, sales, or hospitality roles.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale events and leading teams.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
