Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee daily operations of our bar and beverage services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food and beverage management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. The Bar Manager will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our bar operations, fostering team development, and enhancing overall guest satisfaction.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily bar operations, including food preparation and beverage service.
  • Utilize POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking.
  • Train, mentor, and develop staff on food and drink handling, customer service, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
  • Manage shift schedules to ensure proper staffing levels during peak hours while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food safety, alcohol service, and sanitation standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, organized bar environment that adheres to all safety standards.

Experience

  • Proven management experience in a fast-paced bar or hospitality environment.
  • Hands-on experience with POS systems; cash handling expertise required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervision, and team management.
  • Prior experience in restaurant management or hospitality management roles is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.

Must be able to work weekend nights and holidays.

Alcohol certification and food handlers permit required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
