Your Team's Impact

BCP Specialist Position is to support timely operations recovery following the occurrence of an outage, disruption, or major disasters, such as fires, earthquakes, floods, attacks, pandemic, etc. which result in the partial or complete interruption of business operations.
This position achieves below results with the support and direction of the Global Business Continuity Managers & Global BCM Head.
  • Analyses business requirements that drive critical business functions
  • Critical customer service capabilities remain operational
  • Ensure potential loss is minimized or eliminated
  • Plans and coordinates business continuity recovery strategies that comply with applicable regulations and organizational priorities
  • Coordinate with organizational stakeholders in the implementation of BCM Program and other related initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • 25% Conduct the review, maintenance of assigned departments or teams Business Impact Analysis documents and Business Continuity Plans (BCP). Work with Department/ operations managers to ensure these plans remain valid and fit for purpose. End result expected: Provide the BCM requirements and document review comments to BCM SPOCs for completing their BCP activities.
  • 25% Maintain all the Business Continuity Management (BCM) documents (Documents Repository Management). Collect the details from BC Managers and prepare Minutes of the Meetings and BCM Implementation monthly, weekly reports. End result expected: Ensure that updated BCM documents are available. Provide the update to Senior management on BCM Progress
  • 20% Maintain the emergency communications system and ensure that all staff is appropriately covered by this system. Update the system test environment with latest contact details. Conduct regular testing to validate the effectiveness of this system. Generate reports and share with Business Continuity Managers. End result expected: Ensure that updated contacts are available in the system. Communicate the Incident details/ information to all employees as per the Incident Management team instructions.
  • 10% Create or administer training and awareness presentations or materials. Assists in or conduct employee business continuity awareness programs. BCP test exercise and scenario facilitation. End result expected: BCM Awareness to all the employees.
  • 10% Formulate solutions and ideas to contribute to the process improvement for BCM Team. End result expected: Process Improvement
  • 10% Engage internal teams for information gathering if the need arises. Regular contact with all externals (Govt agencies, Industry, others, etc.) and collect the details on Incidents/ Crisis. Assists with the execution of business continuity recovery plan(s). End result expected: Provide the details and latest updates/ information to Senior Business Continuity Managers.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 2- 4 years of experience with at least 1 year of relevant/similar experience
  • Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills are required, and comfortable dealing with individuals at all levels through the company
  • Should be familiar with working on spread sheets, and other MS office software for maintaining data, develop presentations etc.
  • Quickly able to understand Business Operations in IT enabled services industry and ability to meet tight deadlines.
