JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: BD TECHNICIAN PROJECT CONTROLS PAY GRADE: AUX 10

DUTY DAYS: 260 NON-EXEMPT DATE REVISED: 11/13/2025 HC

FUNDING SOURCE: THIS POSITION IS BOND FUNDED.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Three (3) years of related experience, within Finance and/or Operations or a
related field with exposure to the Procurement, Accounts Payables and Budget departments is required. Procore experience
is preferred and any additional software tools related to Project Management and Procurement as well as Google Suite,
Microsoft Word, Excel and any other computerized applications.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires knowledge and skill in the use of District computers and their software. This position requires the
ability to apply knowledge of a process, coordinate project data, organize and maintain records, and manage time effectively
and efficiently. Incumbents must also be able to communicate effectively through written and oral communication and must
be able to work effectively with staff. The incumbent must be highly organized and have the ability to work on numerous
projects at a time.

JOB PURPOSE AND RESPONSIBILITY:

This position is responsible for managing the Construction Management department related invoicing for Project Controls as
well as the collection of project data and progress reports (Invoice Aging and PO reports).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for working in Procore and Frontline software systems to ensure that payments are processed accurately
and timely for all Construction Management projects.
  • Maintain and manage invoicing payables and the shared inbox for CMD processing.
  • Respond to customer service needs from all vendor requests and inquiries.
  • Support the Finance department and accounting team with all internal/external audits as needed. Also assist with open
records requests related to any Construction financial inquiries.
  • Assist in developing solutions to problems and/or questions related to project controls to all internal/external customers.
  • Assist with creating, maintaining, and developing new reports in Procore, as needed.
  • Support the AISD Construction Management department on past and future bond programs.
  • Collaborate with Finance, BPS (Bond Procurement Services), EOO (Economic Opportunity Office), Facility Maintenance
and other stakeholders/departments to improve SOPs.
  • Collaborate with the Closeout Coordinator with project closeouts on pay applications and final retainage (as needed).
  • Assist with onboarding and training of staff members in regards to Procore and any other technical items.

prolonged hours; frequent districtwide travel

This position reports directly to the appropriate supervisor of the department.
