JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: BD TECHNICIAN PROJECT CONTROLS PAY GRADE: AUX 10
DUTY DAYS: 260 NON-EXEMPT DATE REVISED: 11/13/2025 HC
FUNDING SOURCE: THIS POSITION IS BOND FUNDED.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Three (3) years of related experience, within Finance and/or Operations or a
related field with exposure to the Procurement, Accounts Payables and Budget departments is required. Procore experience
is preferred and any additional software tools related to Project Management and Procurement as well as Google Suite,
Microsoft Word, Excel and any other computerized applications.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires knowledge and skill in the use of District computers and their software. This position requires the
ability to apply knowledge of a process, coordinate project data, organize and maintain records, and manage time effectively
and efficiently. Incumbents must also be able to communicate effectively through written and oral communication and must
be able to work effectively with staff. The incumbent must be highly organized and have the ability to work on numerous
projects at a time.
JOB PURPOSE AND RESPONSIBILITY:
This position is responsible for managing the Construction Management department related invoicing for Project Controls as
well as the collection of project data and progress reports (Invoice Aging and PO reports).

Perform other related duties as assigned; however, all employees are expected to comply with lawful directives in rare

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform
the essential functions of this job. This position may involve rare exposure to blood or body fluids. Regular attendance for
this position is required.

Posture: Frequent sitting, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
Motion: Frequent walking, frequent driving depended on meeting locations.
Lifting: Heavy lifting and carrying (45 pounds and over) on occasion
Environment: Work inside, on slippery or uneven walking surfaces; frequent exposure to noise; work around machinery
with moving parts; may work in tight or enclosed spaces; may work alone; regularly work irregular hours; occasional
prolonged hours; frequent districtwide travel
Mental Demands: Maintain emotional control under stress
PERSONAL WORK RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports directly to the appropriate supervisor of the department.
