What are we looking for:

As a Business Development Executive at IZI, you will be a core part of the Sales Team, directly responsible for expanding our market presence across India and beyond. This role is focused on growing vendor networks, building distributorships, scaling retail partnerships, and driving revenue through offline, online, and international sales channels. You will coordinate closely with our National Distributor while identifying and onboarding new regional distributors, retail partners, and sales outlets pan-India. This is a high-impact role requiring strong sales acumen, market strategy execution, and extensive travel to ensure IZI products achieve strong market penetration and visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Distributor Development & Management: Expand IZI’s footprint by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding regional distributors and retail partners across India.
  • Sales Channel Expansion: Scale vendor networks, LFR (large format retail), GT (general trade), and e-commerce partnerships to maximize product availability.
  • National Distributor Coordination: Work closely with IZI’s national distributor to drive channel growth, resolve bottlenecks, and execute pan-India sales initiatives.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy (GTM): Design and implement strategies for product push-through in offline sales channels and plan structured entries into new markets (including international sales).
  • Revenue Growth: Drive aggressive sales targets across geographies, ensuring placement, visibility, and sell-through.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct regular competitor benchmarking and market analysis to refine pricing, promotions, and distribution strategy.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop distributor incentive programs, sales schemes, and promotional campaigns to accelerate adoption.
  • Brand Presence: Represent IZI at trade fairs, channel events, and market activations to strengthen dealer & distributor engagement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing for GTM campaigns and with Operations for smooth fulfillment and inventory planning.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across India for distributor meetings, market visits, and expansion projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Strong track record in building distributor/retail networks and achieving aggressive sales targets.
  • Deep understanding of pan-India retail distribution models, GT, LFR, and online channel dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and closing skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to design and execute scalable GTM and expansion strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Excel/PowerPoint for reporting and analytics.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English and regional languages.
  • High willingness to travel extensively across India (and internationally when required).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
