Job Description — Business Development Manager (BDM)

Location: Mohali

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) who can drive sales, build strong client relationships, and help us scale our IT services and digital product offerings. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in direct sales, IT services, website solutions, plugins, themes, hosting packages, and custom development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, generate, and convert new business opportunities in domestic/international markets.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle—from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Pitch IT services, software solutions, and web development packages effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understand their requirements, and propose suitable solutions.
  • Create proposals, quotations, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for project scoping and delivery alignment.
  • Maintain CRM records and ensure consistent follow-ups.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, online demos, and networking platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in IT sales / software services / web development sales.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and transform them into client-friendly language.
  • Experience with direct sales, lead generation tools, and bidding platforms (preferred).
  • Knowledge of plugins, themes, hosting packages, SaaS products, and custom software solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and target-oriented mindset.

Educational Qualification (Preferred)

  • MBA / MCA / B.Tech / BCA / Any Technical Graduate
