The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the hotel. This includes developing strategies to attract corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other potential partners, while working closely with the operations and marketing teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities



  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase hotel occupancy, banquet sales, and event bookings.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) Planners.
  3. Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential clients.
  4. Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay updated with industry trends.
  5. Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with hotel revenue targets.
  6. Coordinate with marketing teams for promotional campaigns and branding efforts.
  7. Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to promote the hotel.
  8. Collaborate with operations to ensure client needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  9. Track sales performance, prepare reports, and present updates to management.
  10. Negotiate contracts and close deals in alignment with hotel pricing and revenue policies.

KPI’s:

  • Responsible for meeting monthly KPI’s


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
