Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Benefits Coordinator to join our human resources team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and administering employee benefits programs while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This position requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of benefits administration, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Duties

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including reporting, billing, & assist in payroll functions related to the function of the HRIS system.
  • Ensure compliance with FMLA, HIPAA, and other employment and labor laws.
  • Utilize HRIS ADP Workforce NOW for data collection and regulatory reporting.
  • Assist in employee orientation regarding benefits options and enrollment processes.
  • Conduct data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of benefits programs and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with payroll departments to ensure accurate processing of benefits deductions.
  • Administer payments to vendors on a self- funded health plan
  • Support employee relations by addressing inquiries related to benefits and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance employee understanding of available benefits.

Experience

  • Proven experience in benefits administration within a human resources environment in a self-funding plan.
  • Familiarity with ERP ADP is required.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws including Medicare regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to employees at all levels.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills when dealing with vendors or service providers.

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
