Job Summary:

The Bid Catcher is responsible for assisting the auctioneer during live auctions by identifying, confirming, and communicating bids from participants. The role supports the smooth execution of auctions, ensuring accurate and efficient bid handling to maintain the integrity of the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the auctioneer in identifying and confirming bids from participants during live auctions.
  • Communicate bids clearly and promptly using hand signals or verbal confirmation.
  • Observe the audience closely to recognize and record all active bidders.
  • Coordinate with the auction team to ensure accurate recording of bids and bidder information.
  • Support in pre-auction setup, including arranging vehicles/lots, signage, and bidder seating areas.
  • Provide guidance to bidders regarding registration and bidding procedures when required.
  • Help in post-auction activities such as confirming winning bids and coordinating with the sales and finance teams.
  • Maintain professional conduct and uphold company reputation during all auction events.
  • Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and supervisor instructions at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: High School Certificate or equivalent.

Experience: 1–2 years of experience in automotive auction.

Languages: Basic English communication and Urdu required (Arabic, Hindi is an advantage).

Skills:

  • Alert, attentive, and quick to respond.
  • Good observation and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented, energetic, and confident in public settings.
  • Physically active and willing to work outdoors during auctions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
