The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and another language, allowing them to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base. As a Bilingual Sales Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience, showcasing products, and ensuring that customers leave satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and support during their shopping experience.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively.
• Utilize POS systems for processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to maintain an organized store appearance.
• Implement upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
• Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to assist customers effectively.
• Supervise junior staff members when required, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone.

Skills

• Bilingual proficiency (English plus another language) is essential for effective communication with customers.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience.
• Experience in retail sales, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and retail math applications.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Familiarity with merchandising techniques to enhance product visibility and appeal.
• Previous experience in supervising staff is a plus but not mandatory.
