BIM Manager – FAB Architectural Design Consultancy (Dubai)

Project-Based Role | Mega Project in Dubai | Site-Based

FAB Architectural Design Consultancy, part of the Alroqi Group, is seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager for a project-based role to support a major mega project in Dubai. The ideal candidate is a BIM specialist with strong construction-stage experience and the ability to support the main contractor and their design team by providing accurate BIM information on time.

About the Role

This position is site-based in Dubai and involves leading BIM workflows across all stages—from design coordination to construction, shop drawings, and final as-built documentation. You will work closely with the main contractor to ensure seamless information flow, coordinated models, and timely technical support.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Pre-Construction

• Develop and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), templates, and standards tailored to the mega project.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authority teams to ensure BIM alignment.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality BIM and submission requirements.

Construction Stage

• Support the main contractor and their design team by providing accurate BIM data, drawings, clarifications, and updates on time.
• Extract detailed shop drawings from BIM models for architecture, structure, and MEP.
• Lead clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination using Navisworks.
• Update federated models based on site progress, RFIs, and design modifications.
• Support construction activities including sequencing, progress monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Work closely with the site supervision team to ensure model accuracy and alignment with actual site conditions.

Post-Construction / Handover

• Produce accurate As-Built BIM Models from redlines and site updates.
• Deliver final digital handover packages according to client and authority specifications.

Leadership & Quality

• Conduct BIM audits, model reviews, and quality checks.
• Guide and mentor BIM Engineers and Modelers.
• Support implementation of ISO 19650 procedures (knowledge is a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum overall experience 10+ years in technical office or related job nature.
• Minimum 5+ years of similar BIM Management experience in a contractor or site-based company (mandatory).
• Strong expertise in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM collaboration tools.
• Proven experience with shop drawings extraction and as-built model development.
• Prior involvement in large-scale or mega projects is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of Dubai Municipality regulations and BIM requirements.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 / ISO 9001 is advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and large quantities of BIM data in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From AED12,000.00 per month
