POSITION SUMMARY: Supervise 6th–8th grade students during the time from school dismissal until their rides arrive, working with the children and desiring to impact them for Christ.


*Bob Jones University students only*

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Connect with students by playing and talking with them.
  • Correct behavior of students, as necessary.
  • Sell snacks to students.
  • Enter check-in/check-out times in computer.
  • Supervise students as they play various games
  • Stay flexible and ready to serve as situations change.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Experience working with students is desirable, but not required
  • Christ-like testimony and unwavering integrity
  • Genuine love for students
  • A willingness to interact with Middle School students and their parents
  • Desire to learn and improve
  • Willing to follow Late Stay supervisor directives
  • Willingness to work with other Late Stay workers
  • Adaptability to adjust schedule as BJU and BJA breaks may differ
