Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert behavioral therapy services, conduct assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This role involves working closely with children and adults to improve their quality of life through evidence-based interventions and data-driven strategies. The BCBA will ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation, supporting a multidisciplinary approach to behavioral health.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and supervise behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy sessions to clients, primarily children with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and medical professionals to ensure cohesive care plans.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and support staff as needed.
- Stay current on best practices in behavioral health, special education, and related fields through ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and special education methodologies.
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting to measure treatment efficacy.
- Ability to perform patient assessment and conduct diagnostic evaluations accurately.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and maintaining detailed medical records.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals.
