Position Summary

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for the assessment, development, implementation, and supervision of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for clients. The BCBA ensures high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based services while supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other direct care staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and related evaluations.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Provide direct clinical supervision and ongoing training to RBTs and paraprofessionals.
  • Monitor client progress through data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Modify treatment plans based on client performance and clinical outcomes.
  • Coordinate care with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals.
  • Provide parent/caregiver training and support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with BACB ethical standards, HIPAA, and agency policies.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
  • Support quality assurance, audits, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • Current and active BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • State licensure or registration (if required).
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience providing ABA services preferred.
  • Experience supervising RBTs and support staff.
  • Strong clinical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if field-based).
  • Must pass background check and meet all employment eligibility requirements.

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and move for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to [25–40] pounds if required during client sessions.
  • May require travel between client homes, schools, and office locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
