Role Responsibilities:
The Associate/Senior Associate - BOM and Accounting Services will play a critical role in managing financial operations, accounting services, and human resources tasks for our communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable:
- Manage move-ins and move-outs in Yardi
- Handle ancillary charges, check deposits, and ACH transactions
- Oversee annual care charge increases and care fee reconciliations
- Process resident refunds and statements
- Address billing inquiries and communicate with residents' families and LTC facilities
- Accounts Payable:
- Review and process invoices in DSSI
- Manage employee reimbursements and community card expenses via Concur
- Handle refund processing
- Payroll:
- Work with UKG, UKG Pro, and ADP payroll systems
- Process direct deposits, rate changes, job changes, and W9 form updates
- Update address changes, department transfers, supervisor updates, and terminations
- Manage hours adjustments, 90-day increases, historical entries, retro pay, and payroll processing
- Human Resources:
- Handle new hire and termination paperwork
- Represent HR in employee issues
- Coordinate with IT for new employee setup
- Workers' Compensation:
- Process workers' compensation claims and information for the community
- Accounting Services:
- Utilize financial portals: Aline, Sage, JP Morgan, DSSI, Jack Henry Smart Pay, JP Morgan CC Portal
- Manage bank uploads, reconciliations, and Oasis payroll
- Handle Sysco payments, community card, travel card, and Tax Connex
- Process management fees, BCBS, Wex, Pitney & PlanSource, Medicaid, deposits, and AR aging
- Oversee resident/non-resident payments, credit card transactions, and void checks
- Manage Engie service fees, lease, tax, and insurance processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- experience in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in accounting software and systems, including Yardi, DSSI, and ADP or willing to learn
