This is a full-time on-site role for an E-book Publisher & Formatter in Karachi. As an E-book Publisher & Formatter, you will be responsible for the production and formatting of digital books.

Job Description:

1. Typesetting the text, e.g., setting the book in the correct format such as e-book, paperback, and hardcover

2. Formatting the book, determining how the manuscript must appear as per the International Publishing Standards

3. Organizing the book, e.g., font size, page size, font type.

4. Going on call with clients during the publishing process and communicating with them efficiently to ensure the books are published successfully.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Publishing, or a related field
• 2 years of experience & proficiency in e-book publishing tools and software, such as Adobe InDesign, Sigil, or Calibre
• Strong knowledge of e-book formatting standards, including EPUB and MOBI formats
• Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills to ensure high-quality e-book publications
• Excellent project management and time management skills to meet tight deadlines

Timings: 7 PM to 4 AM (Night Shift)
