We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Payroll Specialist to join our growing accounting team. This is a full-time, on-site position no remote work option is available.
The ideal candidate will have solid bookkeeping experience and a strong background in processing payroll for multiple companies, including those with 50 or more employees. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, preparing reports, and ensuring timely payroll submissions for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple client accounts
Process payroll for multiple entities, including large teams (50+ employees)
Maintain general ledgers, post journal entries, and reconcile accounts
Manage vendor payments, invoices, and expense tracking
Assist with quarterly and year-end reporting, W-2s, and 1099s
Ensure compliance with state and federal payroll regulations
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Qualifications:
Proven bookkeeping and payroll experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) and payroll platforms
Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Schedule: Full-time, on-site only (no remote work option)
