Seeking full time Bookkeeper/Law Firm Administrator for a boutique Rockville law firm.
The position will oversee all financial aspects of the law firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting, budgeting, forecasting, auditing, tax, and financial reporting activities for the law firm as well as oversee Client Billing and Account Receivables.
- Manage Payroll and Benefits for Employees.
- Work closely with the Principal Attorneys to shape the firm's long-term vision and strategy.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal laws and standards.
- Preparation of Firm's financials and tax documents for tax preparation.
- Work closely with Firm's CPA for preparation of tax returns and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- Financial leadership experience.
- Experience in law firms or small businesses is preferred.
- Strong understanding of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
