The Opportunity

Craft and safeguard a consistent brand voice for Queen Elizabeth’s School, Dubai Sports City across Arabic and English . Produce high-quality copy for social posts, marketing materials, and corporate communications; support website updates and internal and external communications; and contribute to the planning and delivery of promotional events. All work must respect safeguarding and align with the expectations of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority for Dubai schools.

Key outcomes:

  • Consistent brand voice: Clear, accurate, and audience appropriate messaging in Arabic and English across channels and materials.
  • Stronger community engagement: Timely, on brand updates that showcase academic highlights, achievements, and events; stronger visibility in local education media.
  • Event impact: Well-planned pre-event and post‑event communications that raise attendance and deliver an excellent guest experience for open days, parent tours, community events, exhibitions, and performances.
  • Compliance first publishing: Content, imagery, and approvals that meet safeguarding standards and the expectations of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority.


The Role

Brand communications and editorial

  • Define and uphold tone of voice and messaging architecture in Arabic and English; maintain templates and style guidance for letters, announcements, and school publications.
  • Plan and manage content calendars aligned to the school year, admissions windows, and major milestones.


Copywriting for social posts, marketing materials, and corporate communications

  • Write, translate, and adapt shortform copy for social posts and stories; coordinate with the social media channel owners on scheduling and reporting.
  • Draft headlines, taglines, body copy, and calls to action for brochures, flyers, newsletters, press releases, outdoor and print ads, video scripts, web pages, and email letters to parents.
  • Produce corporate writing for leadership messages, policy and procedure pages, briefing notes, and partnership materials; ensure facts and claims are accurate and compliant.


Internal and external communications

  • Prepare announcements for prospective parents, current families, staff, and partners; ensure the correct tone for each audience.
  • Coordinate with local press and education publications to amplify key stories and releases.


Website and publications

  • Keep news, achievements, and event pages current; check copy for clarity, accuracy, and bilingual consistency.
  • Work with designers, photographers, and videographers to ensure visuals and captions align with brand and permissions.


Event communications support

  • Build invitation, registration, briefing, and follow-up packs for open days, parent tours, community events, exhibitions, and performances; provide onsite communications support and signage.


Compliance, safeguarding, and approvals

  • Ensure all communications-copy, imagery, and event coverage-adhere to safeguarding requirements and the expectations of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority; maintain approval and consent records.


Insights and collaboration

  • Monitor competitor messages and local sector trends; share insights to refine brand positioning.
  • Partner closely with Admissions, Academics, Sports, central Marketing, and the owners of social media channels to align messaging and elevate outcomes.


The Person

Must have

  • Experience: 3 to 4 years of professional experience in brand communications and copywriting in Arabic and English, with proven results in Dubai’s K-12 education sector or in a similar luxury brand environment.
  • Arabic language: Fluent reading, writing, and listening, with strong command of Modern Standard Arabic and sensitivity to Dubai and Gulf usage for parent and community communications.
  • English language: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Education: Bachelor of Communication and Media (Marketing Communication and Advertising) or similar.
  • Location: Currently based in Dubai.
  • Compliance: Practical understanding of safeguarding and the requirements of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority for school communications.


Beneficial

  • Previous experience in digital marketing, events, and social media operations.
  • Familiarity with website content management, basic design tools, and coordination with photographers and videographers.
  • Experience adapting copy for outdoor, print, and digital placements; comfort working with designers and printers.


Ways of working

  • Onsite presence across Queen Elizabeth’s School, Dubai Sports City and other event locations; occasional evenings and weekends for school/corporate events.
  • Close collaboration with the Admissions, Academics, Sports, and central Marketing teams.
