Position Summary:
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The Brand Experience Curator will be responsible for helping develop Captivate’s aesthetic and creative presence while playing a key role in growing our inventory, brand, and client relationships. You’ll have the unique opportunity to help shape the future of a startup while working closely with both our internal team and high-profile clients on event rental design and planning.
Key Responsibilities: Creative Leadership & Trendspotting:
- Research and stay ahead of design, wedding, and event industry trends.
- Curate and recommend rental inventory that reflects emerging styles and client demand.
- Work directly with vendors, designers, and makers to source new pieces.
Content Creation & Brand Building:
- Conceptualize, direct, and produce styled photo shoots, videos, and digital content.
- Develop creative marketing materials and visuals that reflect our brand.
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and creatives on content production.
Social Media & Digital Presence:
- Own the social media strategy, content creation, and daily engagement across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.).
- Create compelling campaigns that grow our following and build community.
- Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize impact.
Client Interaction & Event Collaboration:
- Work directly with large clients, planners, and venues to help plan and design their rental selections for events.
- Provide creative input, mood boards, or visual mock-ups to support client decision-making.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a seamless and elevated experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the event industry . A background in event planning, production, or styling is a major plus.
- Strong knowledge of current event, wedding, and design trends.
- Proficiency in social media, content creation, and digital marketing.
- Excellent aesthetic sense and creative direction skills.
- Comfortable interacting with large clients and collaborating on event designs.
- Self-starter who takes initiative, thrives in a startup environment, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty.
- Bonus: Experience with photography direction, video editing, or graphic design.
