Job Purpose / Objective
Responsible for delivering quality orientation, training, and educational activities to patients, focusing on basic breastfeeding information and encouragement for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.

Description

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• Participating in establishing standards to ensure breastfeeding training programs align with organizational goals.
• Identifying learning needs of patients and assisting in planning to meet these needs.
• Designing and implementing instructional and reference materials related to breastfeeding.
• Organizing and participating in seminars, workshops, and activities for professional development.
• Visiting new mothers to provide counseling, breastfeeding information, and support, including benefits, overcoming barriers, and initiating breastfeeding.
• Helping mothers address common breastfeeding concerns.
• Maintaining confidentiality of participant information.
• Attending prenatal classes and support groups.
• Participating in patient-centered care initiatives.
• Enhancing patient experience with compassion, respect, and dignity.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Nursing or Nursing Education.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Valid MOH and Saudi Council registration.
