Industry & Sector: Healthcare — Pediatric & Neonatal Care (Children's Hospital). We provide specialized inpatient and outpatient services for newborns and children, delivering family-centered critical and developmental care across NICU and pediatric wards. This role is for an on-site clinical nursing position based in Fazilka, Punjab.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to neonates and pediatric patients in the NICU and pediatric wards—monitor vital signs, record observations, manage feeds, and execute care plans.
• Perform neonatal resuscitation and emergency stabilization at delivery and during critical events following established protocols.
• Operate and manage neonatal support equipment including ventilators, CPAP, oxygen therapy, and phototherapy; monitor settings and alarms.
• Establish and maintain intravenous access, administer medications and blood products per prescription, and ensure accurate medication documentation.
• Coordinate care with neonatologists, pediatricians, therapists, and support staff; participate in multidisciplinary rounds and communicate status updates to families.
• Maintain strict infection control, adhere to neonatal care protocols, participate in audits, and contribute to continuous quality improvement and training initiatives.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• BSc Nursing (Post-Basic) or GNM with current state nursing registration.
• Hands-on experience in NICU and pediatric ward nursing (practical bedside experience required).
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Proven competence in neonatal ventilator/CPAP management and patient monitoring.
• Skilled in intravenous cannulation, medication administration, and neonatal feeding techniques (gavage, tube feeds).
  
  

Preferred

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or advanced neonatal care courses.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and clinical documentation workflows.
• Fluency in Punjabi and Hindi to communicate effectively with local families.
