Budtender/Brand Ambassador (Full-Time)

Vibe Ann Arbor is now hiring a team of passionate Vibe Ambassadors to promote our brand, store, events, and products all around the Ann Arbor area (& beyond!).

Vibe Ambassadors will be trained on every role in the store.

The Ambassador provides an exceptional experience to potential and current customers, and educates customers or patients on cannabis products.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greets and checks in customers when at the store.
• Be the face of the brand in and around downtown Ann Arbor. Engage locals, students, & visitors with genuine energy, cannabis knowledge, and good vibes that reflect our dispensary’s culture.
• Promote store awareness through street-level outreach, pop-up events, collaborations, and creative campaigns that turn heads (and spark conversations).
• Coordinate with local officials and State Street District to set up and schedule events downtown.
• Distribute branded materials (flyers, merch, coupons, etc.) at campus hotspots, downtown events, and partner businesses, with professionalism and respect for city, state, and university guidelines.
• Represent the brand at University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University events, parties (frat/sorority events), community events like Art Fair, Hash Bash, and local markets, helping set up, host, and energize our event booths or activations.
• Drive new foot traffic and loyalty to the store by engaging with downtown foot traffic to our products, promotions, & story.
• Capture and share photos, short clips, and social content that highlight your outreach and the community energy around it.
• Collect feedback and insights from the public and share with our marketing team to improve future campaigns.
• Always remain on-brand and abreast of our products/inventory, promotions, event dates, and the local scene so your outreach always feels natural and informed.
• Work creatively with other ambassadors and the marketing leads to devise and matriculate new marketing projects to help Vibe stand out in the Ann Arbor crowd.
• Maintain STRICT CRA compliance and discretion, making sure to follow state laws, brand policies, and community guidelines when representing Vibe Ann Arbor.
• Learn how to enter and modify customer/patient information in POS System
• Follow all compliance and safety regulations when representing the dispensary in public or online.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 year of sales experience
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Strong social media skills OR ability to talk to people
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency using Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office programs including Gmail, Calendar Docs, Sheets, Word, and Excel

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs
• Ability to sit, stand, stoop, stretch, walk, bend, twist, reach, perform repetitive motions, and carry boxes or items

High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required. Per state law, applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Must be a resident with a current valid Drivers License.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
