Building Substitute Teacher

We are looking for qualified candidate to fill Building Substitute roles within the Brandywine Heights Area School district. This is guaranteed work Monday- Friday. The rate of pay is $150 per day.

Summary

As a Substitute Teacher at Substitute Teacher Service, you will play a vital role in maintaining educational continuity in classrooms across the districts we serve. This position is essential for supporting students' learning experiences and ensuring that their educational needs are met in the absence of regular teachers.

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure educational continuity.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs of students.
• Provide support and assistance to students with special educational needs.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Experience working with students in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
• Ability to develop lesson plans that engage students effectively.
