Building Trades Instructor

Work under the supervision of the Sr. Building Trades Skills Instructor on the supervision, leadership and skill development of at-risk youth in the completion of home construction and rehabilitation on specified dwelling units. Be a role model for positive behavior, hard work and a supportive guide. Work under the direct supervision of the Sr. Building Trades Skills Instructor on completion of units within specified timeframe, developed budget and within program and Comprehensive Community Solutions policies and procedures. Track community service hours and report in DYB those hours. Work with the Sr. Building Trades Skills Instructor to grow construction services component.

• High school diploma/GED
• Five years training or experience in construction, energy conservation or related field desired.
• Ability to read blueprints

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
