Overview:
This role will directly support the CHIPS Program Office Investment Office (IO). The IO team is CPO’s deal making arm and responsible for negotiating highly sensitive contracts with companies who are part of the semiconductor industry and supply chain. This role would support the deal team’s ability to move quickly while maintaining strong integrity and organization. This is a fast-moving team where priorities shift quickly, and the team must be responsive to directions from the Secretary of Commerce and his advisors. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized person who is interested in learning more about investment processes.
Responsibilities:
  • This role will need to bring structure to chaos, keep files in order and clean, and manage multiple requests at a time.
  • This person will help prepare deliverables and presentation materials for leadership meetings and respond to urgent information requests
  • This person will also assist with preparing meeting presentations.
  • Independent problem solver – this person will need to ingratiate themselves into the team, anticipate needs, and solve problems independently.
  • Support and lead coordination of Investment office team meetings inclusive of preparing and compiling meeting materials, developing and maintaining long-term calendar planning
  • Serve as the CPO Investments office records management subject matter expert on processes, including but not limited to, the organization, storage, archival, retrieval and sharing of information on multiple platforms.
  • Develop or assist with preparation of responses for controlled correspondence, in addition to preparing responses to applicant inquiries.
  • Develop, draft, and review memorandums, correspondence, presentations, and other materials.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Able to work onsite
  • Able to work nights when needed
  • Highly organized
  • Advanced level skills in PowerPoint and Excel - this role will need to help turnaround slides quickly and should have experience in designing slides to be clean and informative.
  • Experience in financial analysis, investment banking, corporate consulting, credit underwriting OR other similar role that demonstrate experience leading quantitative analysis and complex multi-party underwriting/due diligence/negotiation processes is preferred.
Pay Range: USD $80,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr. EEO:
