We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst to drive process improvement and data analytics initiatives across our global Desk Tech operations. This role will be crucial in identifying efficiency opportunities, optimizing business processes, and providing data-driven insights to support decision-making across all regions.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead process improvement initiatives across global Desk Tech operations
- Develop and implement data analytics frameworks to measure service performance and generate regular reporting
- Create detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions
- Design and standardize business processes across regions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Program and Vendor Managers to implement and measure improvements
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering sessions
- Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures
About the team
ITS On-Premises Services manages and enhances infrastructure across Amazon's corporate offices. We ensure seamless operations through comprehensive support of networking, meeting room technology, Logistics operations and client computing services. Our scope ranges from small offices to large corporate campuses, focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences while managing complex technical challenges.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
- 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
- Knowledge of IT best practice frameworks (ITIL, COBIT) and operational excellence concepts or methodologies
- Experience working with large global teams
- CBAP or similar business analysis certification

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
