The Business Analyst II is a seasoned professional who leads complex initiatives supporting Sales teams, CRM systems (such as Salesforce), and sales-related processes. This role is pivotal in driving strategic business and sales transformation, mentoring junior analysts, and serving as a subject matter expert for cross-functional projects. The Business Analyst II partners with business leaders to deliver innovative solutions, optimize processes, and ensure the successful implementation of high-impact projects.
Key Responsibilities

Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for large-scale, cross-functional projects impacting multiple business units.

Design and implement advanced workflows, process improvements, and automation to enhance sales operations and CRM utilization.

Serve as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and external vendors, ensuring alignment of business objectives and technical solutions.

Mentor and train junior analysts and business users on best practices, system capabilities, and process improvements.

Oversee and manage the support queue for complex system changes, enhancements, and issue resolution, prioritizing based on business impact.

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure quality assurance for new features and system upgrades.

Analyze business processes, identify opportunities for optimization, and recommend strategic solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Lead change management efforts, including communication, training, and adoption strategies for new systems and processes.

Track and report on project deliverables, milestones, risks, and outcomes to IT management.

Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sales software, CRM platforms, and business analysis.

Author and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, system specifications, process flows, training materials, and post-implementation support guides.

Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and project stakeholders to resolve complex issues and deliver innovative solutions.

Represent the IT department in cross-functional meetings, steering committees, and strategic planning sessions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce or 5 years with other CRM platforms.

Proven experience with systems analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, and declarative/programmatic development.

Strong background in Agile methodologies, sprint-based delivery, and project management.

Expertise in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience leading change management, training, and adoption initiatives.

Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
