We are seeking an initiative-taking and skilled Business Analyst to drive the optimization and integration of international trade and supply chain operations. This specialized role focuses on high-impact projects within the Ports, Maritime, Supply chain & Logistics sectors, with proven experience working on major integration projects [Government / Semi Government]. The ideal candidate should excel at bridging the gap between complex operations, reducing costs, reducing process / ideal time and aiming to provide a seamless user experience to all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert to analyze current import/export processes, including customs compliance, documentation, freight forwarding, and supplier/customer interaction and cross-system integration points with other systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Lead the detailed gathering and documentation of business and technical requirements, producing high-quality artifacts such as Business Requirement Specifications (BRS) and detailed user stories/acceptance criteria/use case documents that guide the entire development process.
- Design & Visualization: Translate abstract requirements into clear visual designs. This includes developing high-fidelity wireframes and comprehensive user flows using tools like Miro and Visio to validate and gain consensus on the proposed solution.
- Process Mapping: Develop and refine process maps for complex processes by identifying inefficiencies and proposing strategic, data-driven improvements.
- Coordination & Execution: Act as the central liaison, coordinating project activities across internal development teams, external service providers, and vendors from design through deployment.
- Testing & Support: Actively participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring the final product meets all business and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications

Experience & Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, International Business, or a related field [preferably]

3–5 years of demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with direct exposure to the Port, Shipping, Supply Chain domain, or working with the government/semi-government entities part of the supply chain.

Domain Expertise: Proven experience working on modernization projects, Trade Single Window (TSW), Port community systems implementations, or complex integration projects involving Other Government Agencies (OGAs).
