he Business Analyst – WBG is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements related to Wholesale Banking operations, products, and digital transformation initiatives. The role bridges the gap between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure successful implementation of technology solutions that enhance client experience, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance within the WBG domain.

Collaborate with business users, product owners, and technical teams to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for WBG applications and processes.

Evaluate existing systems and workflows to identify gaps and recommend improvements for Corporate/Institutional Banking products such as Trade Finance, Treasury, Payments, Loans, and Cash Management.

Prepare detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and process flow diagrams.

Support end-to-end project lifecycle — from requirement gathering, UAT preparation, and test case validation to production deployment.

Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams to ensure clear communication and timely delivery of project objectives.

Conduct data mapping and assist in data migration, interface integration, and reconciliation activities for WBG systems.

Support implementation of digital platforms and core banking enhancements for corporate clients (e.g., online banking, API-based services, and host-to-host connectivity).

Ensure compliance with internal controls, risk, and regulatory standards (AML, KYC, Basel, SWIFT, etc.).

Provide training and support to end-users on new or enhanced WBG systems.

Participate in post-implementation review and continuous improvement initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Wholesale / Corporate Banking domain.

Strong understanding of WBG products – Trade Finance, Treasury, Loans, Payments, and Cash Management.

Hands-on experience in documenting business processes, BRDs, FSDs, and use cases.

Familiarity with Core Banking Systems (e.g., Finacle, Flexcube, T24, or equivalent).

Good understanding of SWIFT messages, ISO 20022 standards, and integration interfaces.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience in Agile or Waterfall project environments.

Proficiency in tools such as MS Visio, JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent.

Experience with digital banking transformation or API integration projects for WBG.

Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA).

Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools.
