Job Purpose:

The Business Continuity Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s business continuity plans and procedures. This role ensures that the company can continue critical operations and recover quickly from any type of disruption, including natural disasters, cyber incidents, and other emergencies.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop, update, and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct analyses and risk assessments to identify critical business functions and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with department leads to design and implement effective recovery strategies and contingency plans.
  • Facilitate regular BCP testing and simulation exercises to ensure preparedness and validate plan effectiveness.
  • Coordinate incident response and recovery efforts during business disruptions.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices to ensure compliance and resilience.
  • Develop and deliver business continuity awareness and training programs for employees.
  • Maintain documentation, reports, and metrics related to continuity planning and testing.
  • Support audits and regulatory reviews related to business continuity and risk management.
  • Work closely with IT, facilities, and security teams to align continuity efforts across the organization.
  • Coordinate with key airport stakeholders—including airlines, ground handlers, regulatory authorities, and emergency services—to ensure alignment and integration of business continuity plans.


Qualifications, Experience & Skills:


Education: Bachelor’s degree in risk management or related field

Master in Business Administration is preferred

Language: English (Advanced), Arabic (Advanced)

Computer Skills : Proficiency in MS Office, and data reporting tools

Experience : 5 years of relevant experience in Business Continuity
