We are looking for proactive and experienced Upwork Bidders who can identify quality leads, submit proposals, and help us secure new projects through Upwork and other freelancing platforms. This is a performance-based role, suitable for candidates who are confident in their bidding, communication, and client-closing skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Write custom, high-quality proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Search and bid on relevant projects on Upwork (primary) and other freelance platforms.
- Maintain a strong response rate by following up with leads.
- Schedule meetings with qualified prospects for the internal team.
- Communicate project scope and requirements clearly with clients.
- Work closely with the delivery team to understand services, pricing, and capabilities.
- Track and maintain a bidding/reporting sheet daily.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Upwork Bidder / Business Development Executive.
- Previous successful project-winning record for a software house is required.
- Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal).
- Ability to draft personalized, persuasive proposals.
- Familiarity with Upwork algorithms, bidding strategies, and client engagement best practices.
- Strong understanding of IT services / design / digital marketing
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working on commission.
Compensation
- Commission-based
- Attractive percentage on every closed deal.
Working Hours
- Flexible (as long as daily bidding targets are met).
- Must be available for client communication when needed.
